A Unique Texas Experience!
Starlight Canyon Retreat is located in upper Palo Duro Canyon, just eleven miles from Amarillo on south Osage Road. These peaceful, beautiful surroundings will make it hard to believe that you are still in West Texas. Wildlife abounds, birds, rabbits, raccoons, wild turkeys, deer and even a bobcat or two have been seen!
The main house was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (New Deal era) as a side project of the national park development work in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The house is constructed of local timber and native stone quarried at the site.
While relaxing you may want to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Life here is good, come join us when you need to get away but can't afford to be far away!
